After some offline work, and the new site design having more hiccups than expected, it’s time to iron out the issues live. What better way to do that, then to dive right into the new site features with a post about how the new site is developing itself. Possibly as a reflection of the evolution, and to give insight when looking back. The goal with the new site is to have frequent updates, provide an outlet for creative media, to document the cool projects as they unfold, and to showcase an increased spectrum of what Mathmatech can accomplish with a variety of different skills.
The main tagline that was featured previously was showcasing Mathmatech as a Drum and Bass artist, and the reality is that the statement is limiting, with little room for growth. A quick summary of skills not included in this statement: Educated IT technician, Professional Hip Hop DJ, 15 year digital Graphic design experience, Video Editing semi-professionally, sound engineering at a Recording Studio as an unofficial internship with 40 year veterans in the recording industry. As the progression of the website unfolds, so should a larger picture of what tagline would better describe Mathmatech. Please leave a comment with your thoughts on what you think defines Mathmatech, or even send a DM on social media using one of the links that are hopefully working again.
As for now, maybe you can have a listen to the same Drum and Bass artist thats on rotation here, while the site is figuring out all the new features. And if you have yet to hear of Noisia, they are one of the most revered Drum and Bass artists around. Noisia is known for high quality mixing, sound design, and crossing electronic music genres. They are heavy, dark, and a house hold name for anyone who listens to Drum and Bass or Dubstep. Their Noisia Radio channel on soundcloud has been setup with seasons and episodes, in a clever way that makes it simple to document. The recent episode was posted 17 hours ago, and has been added to the queue of next to play. @Noisia’s weekly radio show
